Recently our client has launched a new strategy describing how they will grow the company to lead the industry with focused and innovative solutions. Our client will accelerate growth by focusing efforts on the right opportunities in the market, by investing in growing business and by making offerings clear to customers. One of the strategic initiatives is “Building Strong Brands” which directly links to marketing and product management efforts, which is on top of the agenda in the organization.
The position as Head of Nordic Marketing & Product
Management is located in the company´s Nordic sales company. The Marketing & Product Management team
is overall responsible for supporting the Nordic sales company on product and
marketing activities, information campaigns etc.
The
Position
As Head of Nordic Marketing & Product Management, you will be
responsible
for development and execution of the local Marketing plans and their alignment
with regional sales objectives and guidelines from Global Marketing. Part of is
to drive brand awareness and marketing activities across the Nordic region
supporting the sales activities in the business units.
You will lead an international team consisting of 13 employees on 5
different locations. 9 employees
– in roles as Product Managers, Graphic Designers, Online Specialist, CRM
Specialist and Training Consultant – are based in Denmark supported by local
marketing coordinators in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
There will be close interfaces to several internal and external
stakeholders in the position, e.g.
local Sales and Service Management,
Group Global Marketing, advertising agencies, media production, printing etc.
The position is part of the Nordic Management team and reports to Senior General
Manager for Nordics. Key responsibility areas for the position are
described below. Some tasks are handled by your direct reports while you also
handle some of them yourself:
· Budget responsibility for Nordic Marketing budget
· Create strong brand awareness, BtB and BtC, across the Nordic region
· Develop and execute effective campaigns, newsletters, brochures and other sales materials
· Support sales organization with accurate and up to date product information
· Coordinate and plan participation in exhibitions across the Nordic region
· Create and implement innovative digital marketing programs and campaigns
· Liaise with Global Marketing organization to ensure alignment with global brand guidelines
· Lead, inspire and coach the Nordic Marketing & Product Management team in its way to reach objectives
Location
of the position is in Copenhagen. Travel activity in the job
is estimated to 20-30 days a year to the Nordic countries.
Ideal
Candidate
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree within
business, marketing (e.g. Cand.merc.), economics or similar. With the right
experience described below a Bachelor degree (e.g. HD) could be sufficient.
The Head of Nordic Marketing & Product Management possesses the following experience and
qualifications:

At least 5-10 years of experience from relevant marketing positions from either a large corporation or agency. At least some of your experience is with people management in which you excel
· Preferably both BtB and BtC experience where BtB is most important for this position
·
A strong understanding of, and practical experience in, marketing on a strategic, tactical and operational level. Preferably, you have worked with marketing close to markets and sales functions
· Ideally some level of international experience
· Experienced Microsoft Office user
· Fluency in oral and written English

you will have a significant span of control further enhancing your people
management skills. The compensation and benefits package will besides a fixed
salary include bonus and company paid pension scheme.
