The Patient and Post-Acute Care business category – managing the ArjoHuntleigh
brand, products and solutions – is responsible for a portfolio with current annual
turnover exceeding 7 Billion SEK. The aim is to be the globally leading
provider of healthcare solutions for people affected by reduced mobility within
both Acute and Post-Acute care segments. Products and solutions are sold
worldwide and our organization is currently based in Europe, North America and
Asia.
The product portfolio
within the business category encompasses medical equipment and integrated solutions
in the following product segments: Medical beds; Lifting and Transfers; Hygiene
Systems; Therapeutic Surfaces; DVT Prevention; Wound Healing; Diagnostics.
The Commercial
Operations department consisting of currently 23 highly capable employees organized
in 5 teams is responsible for Go-to-market, Category Optimization, Customer Experience
Management & Digital Marketing, Aftermarket, and New Business Models & Pricing.
The Director will head the New Business Models & Pricing team. The New
Business Model framework is a structured approach to conduct business
development on the way to sell the products and services. New business
modelling includes development of new concepts with all relevant components
such as business cases, definition of value proposition, key target audience,
sales model, financing model, risk assessments, etc.
The
position
In this position, you
will be overall responsible for developing, managing and rolling out the
Patient and Post-Acute Care New Business Models programs, including current
offerings such as Diligent and ProACT. Furthermore, you will act as Business
Category pricing steward towards sales regions and will thereby play a critical
role in supporting the strategic development of the business category. The position
reports to VP Commercial Operations for Patient & Post-Acute Care whom
reports to President for the entire business category. Main stakeholders will
be top management and sales management in regions and markets. Among your main
responsibilities and tasks will be:

Develop,
conceptualize and support implementation of new business models in the regions
and markets
·
Maintain
framework for continuous development of new business models and secure global
sharing of new business model best practices
·
Consult and
influence internal leaders and partners on adoption of pricing strategies and
processes relating to the Patient and Post-Acute Care Business Category
·
Work with
Category Optimization team to analyze sources of profit leakage and revenue
maximization and to perform other pricing and profit analyses for the business
category unit
·
Assist the
Solution Management in developing pricing strategies to drive revenue
optimization with market based pricing and aligned floor pricing
·
Work with
regions to provide strategic direction for New Business Model & Pricing
team
·
Lead a team
of currently 6 talented employees in Sweden and the UK
The position is based in Malmö, Sweden. Since you will have a global scope, you
should expect international travel, average approximately 100 days on an annual
basis.

The
compensation and benefits package will be on an attractive level which besides
a fixed salary includes 20% target bonus, pension scheme and car allowance.
The
ideal candidate
As ideal for the
position, you have at least 6-10 years of progressive experience in preferably
one of the following areas: business development, financial / business
analysis, strategy or pricing management.
If you have a
background from a top tier management consulting company approximately 4-6
years of intensive experience could be sufficient.
Some of your key
characteristics include:

A master’s degree in Business, Economics,
Finance or similar that you’ve passed with great results
·
Solid
experience working strategically with business development and pricing
strategies in commoditizing industries
·
Real
experience with developing and successfully implementing new business models to
existing product portfolios
·
Strongly
data driven and proficient in Excel
·
Good
experience within business, market and / or financial analysis
·
Good market
understanding and insights into sales and cost drivers
·
Experience
within medical device industry is an advantage not a must
Personal
characteristics and competencies are extremely important for this position.
