Nuuday is in the midst of one of the biggest
transformations in Denmark right now and has a clear goal of becoming one of
the most digital and advanced telcos in Europe with a clear focus on customer
experience. To be part of and support that journey – and i
n order to strengthen HR and take the people agenda to its next level –
Nuuday is now looking for a highly skilled and professional Senior HR Business
Partner. As Senior HRBP you will become part of our People & Culture team
which consist of 30+ dedicated people, covering the following areas: Talent,
Learning & Development, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, People
Analytics, HR Operations & Legal, Health & Safety and finally a team of
6 HR Business Partners.
Senior HR Business Partner as a “transformation
agent”, challenging senior management and enhancing performance
As Senior HRBP you
will support top management within one of Nuuday´s brands / commercial business
units, challenging and helping leaders to drive transformation and achieve the
desired performance. As a trusted advisor, you drive and deliver on the people
agenda in the organization you support, typically consisting of 6-800
employees. You do that through your own value adding HR Business Partnering,
but also supported by concepts, processes and systems delivered by your HR
specialist colleagues.
This role will allow you to
focus intensively on HR Business Partnering in a very business-oriented environment.
In this position, you will
have a dynamic and varying workday, and you are expected to be able to work
strategically with HR topics, but you will also have hands-on. The leaders you
support will often be on VP, SVP and EVP level and you will have a fixed seat
in the relevant management team. You will support leaders as a
“transformational force”, with annual people processes, development and
performance of their teams and driving organizational changes. Part of the
position will be to further increase and enhance HR Business Partnering
maturity.
If you like to work with transformation in a very commercial, performance
driven and dynamic organization, this is the Senior HR Partner role to be in. You
will report to Head of HR Business Partnering who reports to the Chief HR
Officer.
Key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Drive and support the people agenda and implementation of strategic HR initiatives in the BU you support. The concepts & strategic initiatives are typically developed in the Talent, Learning & Development Team
- Advise people managers in how to excel and to exercise great leadership in a performance driven organization and help them shape and foster a high performing environment and culture
- Drive right sizing processes and support involved leaders
- Coach and counsel leaders, managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, employment law etc. – in that sense acting as a subject matter expert by providing strategic and hands-on expertise within multiple HR areas
- Facilitate and drive the recurring annual people processes in the organization you support, e.g., Goal Setting, Strategic Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Salary Review and -process, Quarterly People Check-In, Yearly People Reviews, Engagement Surveys etc.
- Proactively support organizational development activities as Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Satisfaction & Retention, Diversity and Inclusion
- Handle and drive the ongoing cooperation and meetings with the unions within the BU
- Ad hoc HR projects and HR process optimization
- Analyze data, and seek knowledge of the BU you support, as the basis for HR decisions and recommendations
- Share knowledge and best practices with your HR Business partner colleagues to continue improving the HR Business Partnering approach and also work closely with other teams in People & Culture to deliver the best possible service to BU´s
Location of the position is
Nuuday´s Headquarter at Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen.
Expect only very limited yearly travel mainly to the office location in
Aarhus.
Solid and broad strategic and operational HR experience with emphasis on HR
business partnering
As the ideal candidate you:
- Hold a relevant Master’s degree in e.g. HR, Psychology, Business, Economics, or alternatively – with the right profile described below – a Business Diploma (HD Organisation) or similar
- Have at least 6-10 years of HR experience – or more – the majority from a similar position as HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a larger knowledge intensive and performance driven organization
- Are seasoned with broad experience across most HR disciplines, e.g. Employment Law, Organizational Planning, Employee Relations, HRD, Recruitment, Comp. & Ben., Change Management, Coaching and sparring
- Have experience executing the entire annual cycle of HR processes where you delivered value adding HR support
- Are known as a strong HR advisor recognized for pragmatically challenging status quo – also on senior executive level – who delivers high quality and visible results
- Preferably have HR experience from an organization in transformation and it would be an advantage if you have experience with supporting a fast-paced, commercial organization
- Have experience with change and change management
- Have excellent stakeholder management skills and can create impact & influence
- Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English
On the personal level you are the kind of HR profile
who is commercial savvy, understands business and have that in mind when you
support managers, yet still based on a high empathy and integrity. You have
business acumen in order to provide HR deliverables matching a commercial
organization undergoing a transformation within short time. Clearly, you are a
people person with strong interpersonal- and communication skills, including
strong writing and presentation skills.
A structured, analytical, and results-oriented personality will enable you to
keep an overview and prioritize in a dynamic and changing organization. As a
change agent it´s important you truly thrive with transformation and as a
self-starter like to take the lead on processes with an execution minded “can
do attitude”. This also requires a resilient person with the ability to meet
deadlines and function in a highly independent and visible position with lots
of business impact.
