Milestone
Systems is a global market-leading provider of video management solutions and a

all channels.
The
Copywriter is a part of the Creative team in Brand Studio, one out of 4 teams
in Global Marketing and Communications under the VP of Marketing and
Communications. The Global Marketing and Communications department is
responsible for driving marketing and developing marketing communication to
build and strengthen the Milestone brand and business. It consists of highly
qualified creative people and marketing specialists.
You will
work as the only Copywriter in Brand Studio – giving you a lot of
responsibility – together with a talented team of 12 graphic designers, art
directors, video specialists, project managers and freelancers who have agency
and marketing backgrounds. In addition, you will have 20-25 other marketing and
communications specialists as colleagues within Global Marketing and
Communications divided into the teams: Marketing Excellence, Digital Marketing
and Global Communications (internal and external communications). In other
words, a global Marketing organization of significant size and impact.
Brand Studio
is responsible for building and strengthening the Milestone brand and business
with creative vision increasing overall brand awareness, reputation and
engagement across media and platforms – towards partners, end customers and
employees. The team drives the global brand value proposition and implement
creative and innovative brand experiences, campaigns and activities across all
relevant touchpoints. The Brand Studio team acts as an agency within Milestone
Systems, which further Milestone’s voice and vision through strategic
storytelling and visuals.
Role and Responsibilities
As Copywriter,
you will be responsible for conceptualizing communication materials that are
aligned with Milestone’s business and marketing strategies. You will also help define,
evolve and express brand strategy and experience across all categories. You
express ideas and tell stories across a variety of media channels and
platforms, writing to different audiences; partners and end costumers, with the
overall aim and KPI; creating engagement and securing more and better qualified
leads.
You
will work closely with fellow creatives and external stakeholders to achieve
excellent communication and marketing results. Your tasks will require a solid
background in writing for marketing and a solid understanding of messaging
documents. Proven ability to conceptualize and tell stories creatively is also
essential. The position reports to Head of Brand Studio whom reports to VP of
Marketing and Communications.
Your overall responsibilities include:

Write
strong, creative copy and crisp, catchy headlines

Creative
concept development together with marketing managers graphic designers,
art directors and video specialists

Use
the written word to express ideas and tell stories

Bring
stories to life writing

case stories

copy for brochures, presentations, invites,
event materials and ads

SoMe posts (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter) and
newsletters

copy for brand guidelines and online tools

SEO optimized
copy for digital media

Create storylines and scripts for video / film

Brand
guideline updates, proofing & alignment
-
Proofread,
edit and fact-check to ensure copy is accurate and clearly written

Be tone-of-voice brand captain and ensure that
copy adheres to tone-of-voice,
style, corporate and
brand standards before being released for review, layout or publication
- Closely collaborate with other communications specialists to align writing styles with Milestone’s tone of voice, writing guidelines and value propositions
- Keep up to date on market trends, product releases and competitors
The position is located at
Milestone
global headquarters in Brøndby, just outside of Copenhagen. You should expect around 5-10 days of travel
a year to visit offices and customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed
in this position the right candidate has:

Native equivalency in English who can write
American English flawlessly
-
A relevant education on at least BA level within
communications, marketing, journalism or similar
-
At least 3-5 years of experience – gladly
more – as a copywriter where you have been writing for marketing and
communication at an agency, company or media outlet

The ability to understand complex technical
products and make a clear message that is easy to understand
-
Advanced knowledge of marketing
communication and commercial messaging
-
Experience using storytelling to engage and
persuade
- Proficient skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign for editing)
- Preferably software and BTB experience, which is not a requirement
- Preferably experience in conceptualizing and writing video scripts
