The Global Products & Services Business Unit overall owns Nilfisk product portfolio, product management, R&D, Quality Management and related functions. In other the organization is responsible for developing, managing and ensuring quality of Nilfisk´s innovative products, services and solutions and bringing these to the market in an effective customer centric way. Recently Global Products & Services has been reorganized into a customer segmentation to truly meet customer needs. The 4 segments in Global Products & Services are: Contract Cleaners & Institutions, Industry, ABCA and Mid Marketing. 

Within
these segments Nilfisk is focusing on building a strong product range supported with new autonomous and digital solutions. Further, high on the agenda is also complexity reduction and streamlining business through portfolio management, introduction of modularity and other initiatives. Nilfisk is now hiring a Global Head of Portfolio Management to drive this innovative agenda within the Institutions Segment to lead and drive the portfolio of products & services – owning the full product lifecycle from roadmap for new products over launch to products already on the market.


Drive competitive portfolio strategies matching segment needs

The Institutions segment cover cleaning applications and solutions within areas like educational facilities, municipalities, offices, public buildings, hospitals, hotels and retail. The portfolio includes various small and midsized floor care machines, vacuum cleaners and carpet care products – 50 product platforms in total – with 300+ Million EUR in turnover. The team you head consists of 10 people globally including Global Product Managers, New Product Development (NPD) Leaders, Project Managers, training professionals and technical support staff – located in Denmark, France, Italy, USA and China. 

Your overall responsibility is to create and maintain an innovative, effective and competitive portfolio within products, services and solutions for cleaning applications within the Institutions segment. Reporting line is to SVP, Head of Contract Cleaners & Institutions Segment who reports to EVP, Global Products & Services. Main stakeholders are: Other areas of Global Products & Services, Global Marketing including Customer Insight team, Sales, R&D and top management. Your responsibilities and tasks include: 


·       Drive a segment portfolio strategy with the marketing organization integrating available technologies from Autonomy, Digital Services and Technology 

·       Make solid business analyses resulting in product visions and strategies based on customer insights 

·       Develop launch strategies & global launch plans and deployment for new products and services 

·       Manage and own full product lifecycle (on segment-led platforms and / or modules) including: 

o   NPD execution and product launch management 

o   Product quality management and resolution 

·       Lead the global team of product management and NPD professionals – ensuring high engagement and customer centric mindset in organization 

·       Build strong collaboration between own team, sales companies, Global Marketing, Global Operations and the rest of the Global Products & Services organization including R&D 

·       Conduct monthly reporting on e.g. portfolio performance, product line performance and NPD launch performance 

Location of the position is Nilfisk headquarter in Brøndby. Due to the global scope of the position and the international team you lead, traveling in the position is estimated to approx. 20-30 days a year.

  

Experienced Product Program / Portfolio Management leader or management consulting background ready to take commercial- and people management responsibility

As Global Head of Portfolio Management for Institutions segment you possess the following experience and qualifications:


·       Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or similar


·       5+ years of experience leading a team working with strategic product portfolio planning and product management in a global company developing, producing and selling electro mechanical or related products.

Alternatively, you work in a Sr. strategy & business development or commercial role after some years in management consulting now ready to have product portfolio-, and people management responsibility


·       Experience working with business analysis and strategies for products, services and solutions


·       Solid experience with program- or project management


·       Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills


·       Fluency in English, verbally and in writing

·       Strategic mindset and customer understanding to match product portfolio to segment needs


·       Your analytical skills and business / financial understanding is strong


·       With your demonstrated presentation skills, you convince and sell ideas and visions and you formulate yourself in a short, clear and precise manner


·       You translate data and analyses into conclusions, actions and communication


Nilfisk Offers

A top management exposure position with people management and commercial impact for a segment driving a large proportion of Nilfisk´s revenue. Owning the product lifecycle for Institutions segment, you will have end to end responsibility from roadmap for new products over launch to products already on the market. Therefore, you will play a vital part in winning the battle in the business of professional cleaning equipment through innovative strategies, technological development, reduction of complexity and creating a customer centric organization.

The compensation and benefits package will be on an attractive level and will besides a fixed salary include bonus and 8% company paid pension scheme.
