Nuuday is in the midst of one of the biggest transformations in Denmark right now and has a clear goal of becoming one of the most digital and advanced telcos in Europe with a clear focus on customer experience. To be part of and support that journey Nuuday is now looking for a highly skilled and professional People Development Lead. You will become part of our People & Culture unit which consist of 30+ dedicated people, covering the following areas: Talent, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, People Analytics, HR Operations & Legal, Health & Safety and finally a team of 6 HR Business Partners. Main objective is to provide the best people experiences, leadership tools and fit-for-purpose processes to support employees and leaders to succeed with this ongoing transformation.
This is where you as People Development Lead will have an essential role located in the Talent, Learning & Development team. You will – in collaboration with skilled team members with similar profiles like yourself – be responsible for designing, describing and rolling out critical people programmes and -processes in a structured and efficient manner. Essential for all your deliverables is that they are based on simplicity and scalability and with 100% end-user focus. The team is passionate about moving fast and getting things out to internal customers. Examples of what the team has designed and rolled out the last 6 months are frameworks for Goal-setting, People Review and Succession Management. In addition, the team is in the midst of rolling out a large Inclusive Leadership training programme for all Nuuday leaders and it has also just built an MVP for a new approach for smooth onboarding of new colleagues.
You will report to the Head of Talent, Learning & Development – who reports to Chief HR Officer – and have 6-7 colleagues in the team working with everything from Talent Acquisition to Learning and to D&I. The team strives for simplicity, scalability and customer focus and aiming to support any initiatives, ideas or conclusions with data and facts. In addition, the team has a clear aspiration to build a high-performing team where synergies, diverse thinking, trust, fun and quality work are well-known elements. As the team is still rather new, you will in collaboration with the rest of the team find the best and most effective way to reach that state.
What you’ll do
- Design, facilitate, and maintain a broad range of scalable people programmes and processes within the entire people lifecycle. Examples could be - but are not limited to - career development, engagement, talent frameworks, people development, succession, performance management, diversity & inclusion
- Develop, test, and roll out supporting training of the processes in close collaboration with team members, HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and end-users to ensure the solutions are impactful and address business needs
- Act as a lighthouse for talent- and performance management and provide people process expertise across Nuuday
- Use digital solutions as applicable to optimize the efficiency and the customer experience
- Work with and manage external suppliers within HRD, leadership and organizational development
Location of the position is Nuuday´s Headquarter at Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen. Expect only very limited yearly travel mainly to the office location in Aarhus.
What you’ll need
- M.Sc. degree in e.g. HR, Psychology, Business, Economics or similar, alternatively a Bus iness Diploma in Organization (HD O)
- At least 5-8 years of relevant HR experience – gladly more! – from either HRD / organizational development roles or from HR Manager / Partner roles where HRD has been a substantial part and from larger Danish or international companies of significant size and complexity
- Concrete experience with process design and you have proven that you can design, describe, user-test and roll out fit-for-purpose HRD / people processes and concepts with real impact in the business
- Solid experience from working with the most ‘classic’ HR concepts such as career models, performance management, talent frameworks, succession etc.
- Proficiency in Danish & English and strong communication skills
On the personal level you are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, high integrity and good at building report on all levels of the organization. You have equally strong communication skills and used to communicating with senior stakeholders, also on C-level, including making impactful and crisp presentations to support your messages. Working in a company undergoing transformation, you thrive with changes and you are a self-starter who likes to take the lead, define an agenda and develop initiatives and processes and bring them to live in fast paced organization. This requires excellent execution skills as well. In addition, you have a business-oriented HR mindset in order to provide HRD deliverables matching business needs.
