geographic areas: North America, Western Europe and Rest of the World. We are approximately

Arjo was carved out as a separate listed company from Getinge Group in 2017 and has since the spin-off focused on building a solid foundation and taking Arjo back to profitable growth. Building on this foundation Arjo launched a new corporate strategy and direction in November 2020. Arjo is now working towards becoming the Mobility Outcome Partner offering solutions to, together with customers, assess the unique needs of each care setting and develop tailored programs that, in addition to the right equipment, also ensure the right skills and work methods for staff. Working closely with customers, Arjo assumes responsibility for creating a change in care practices to achieve better clinical and financial outcomes for healthcare.
Corporate Development & Projects is an in-house
consulting team working with / for the executive management team to drive the
corporate strategic agenda in Arjo. After recent promotions of team members to
managerial positions elsewhere the company, the team currently consists of 5 highly
skilled and dedicated profiles primarily developing and deploying corporate-,
business unit-, commercial- and efficiency strategies for Arjo globally
including business development-, commercial- and M&A projects.
To
support execution on the strategic agenda and
growth ambitions, Arjo is now expanding the Corporate Development &
Projects team – often seen as an “internal talent factory” with a high caliber
Senior Manager. The position is to some extent scalable to match the candidate
seniority and tenure from ideally top-tier management consulting company and /
or corporate strategy department. The position has a second to none top
management exposure and will for the right candidate be a great step stone to
management positions in e.g. Corporate Development & Projects, Group functions
or business units – located in headquarter or abroad.
The position
As
Senior Manager in Corporate Development & Projects you will work in a
broad role focusing on strategy, business development, commercial projects,
M&A and top management support. You typically have full project
management responsibility and support development and
execution of strategic initiatives with a significant impact in the
organization. The position reports to and can for the right candidate serve as
a Deputy for Director, Corporate Development & Projects – with a background
from BCG – whom reports to Executive Vice President with the roles as CSO, CMO
and CIO. Your main responsibilities will be:

Commercial projects (can be global and regionally
limited in scope), e.g. including:
o
Develop and implement strategies
for specific markets
o
Commercial optimization, e.g.
identifying growth initiatives and cost-out opportunities in collaboration with
local stakeholders
o
Fact based market analysis,
including mapping of commercial opportunities and challenges
o
Customer segmentation and prioritization
o
Business model development and
deployment, moving Arjo further towards value based healthcare

Corporate-, BU- & Portfolio strategy and strategy
projects, e.g. including:
o
Corporate, BU & Portfolio
Strategy – development, updates and execution
o
Emerging market strategy and
implementation
o
Development of short- and medium-term
growth initiatives to drive revenue and profit across markets, including but
not limited to product mix optimization and pricing quick-wins
o
Support in implementation and
tracking of various growth initiatives

M&A projects, e.g. including:
o
Working closely with M&A
responsible regarding potential transactions, mainly acquisitions
o
Deal rationale and evaluation
o
Integration strategy and execution
·
ComEx and Pricing Excellence especially within
Continental Europe & Nordics
o
Various ComEx initiatives and
take it to the next level
o
Support the organization in
defining pricing initiatives, implementing and following up in impact
·
Other:
o
Advising and support of
executive management
o
Support in various strategic projects typically with
top management exposure
Location
of the position is Arjo´s headquarter in Malmö close to Central Stationen
(approx. 45 minutes from Central Copenhagen in train / car).
Travel
activity in the job is estimated to up to 20% / 30-50 days a year due to the
global nature of activities and varying depending on project needs.
The
ideal candidate
As Sr. Manager, Corporate Development & Projects you possess the following
experience and qualifications:
·
A master’s
degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar completed with
great results
·
Minimum 2½-5
years’ experience at a top tier
management consulting company and / or corporate
strategy / business development department. You could also have experience from
Corporate Finance, Private Equity or M&A Function if you have a strong urge
working with corporate strategy and business development
·
Solid experience from project management and / or
having driven work streams in projects, with focus on corporate- and commercial
strategies / projects and implementation of these
·
Experience
in interaction and project facilitation with senior management and challenging
stakeholders
·
Experience
within business-, market- and financial analysis
·
Preferably M&A
/ due diligence experience
·
Excel &
PowerPoint skills on expert level
·
Fluent
in English in speaking and in writing
