At Novozymes, Business Finance is responsible for finance business
partnering towards various divisional VP areas and business areas helping
business to drive performance, value creation and profitability in close
partnership with the global Division Leadership Teams. Finance business partnering
in Novozymes is truly mature and on a high level with very skilled, ambitious
and enthusiastic employees. ERP and consolidation system is SAP and Business
Finance and Corporate Finance functions in Novozymes are well supported by
Financial Service Center in India.
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is part of the
Business Finance organization and plays a pivotal role in enabling Business
Finance to deliver on its winning aspiration: “As Business Partners, we will
enable Novozymes strategy execution and impact decisions to maximize value,
ensure focus on profitable growth and optimize resource allocation. We will
ensure that Business Finance is a great place to work where we can learn and
develop”. Responsibility of the FP&A team with ten dynamic employees
(seven in Denmark and three in India) is to own and drive corporate financial
planning processes as financial outlook, budgeting, forecasting, performance
management, business finance analyses. FP&A also drive group management
reporting, own the corporate performance management concept & governance,
and support M&A business cases.
Process owner for the financial
planning processes: budgeting, target setting, financial outlook and
performance management for executive management
Novozymes is looking for a strong finance professional with a CFO mindset
and a passion for financial planning and financial steering to take up the top
management exposed role as Sr. Manager, Corporate Financial Planning. You will
own the corporate financial planning processes and develop the newly
established performance management process in close collaboration with finance
functions across Novozymes. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence and
gain insights into how Novozymes steer its financials and work with talented
and passioned finance professionals.
Communication skills and stakeholder management is key in the role and besides CFO exposure and close interaction with Business Finance teams you get the possibility to interact with senior stakeholders, e.g. Finance Leadership team and Corporate Strategy, to develop decision material for executive management and Board of directors. Working with them you ensure that the corporate financial planning processes create business impact and competitive edge, which is essential. The position reports to the Director, Corporate FP&A whom reports to Vice President, Business Finance. The position is to some extent scalable to match candidate seniority. For the right candidate, it could over time potentially translate into a people manager position. Re sponsibilities and activities include:
· As process owner, you will drive design and execution of financial planning processes and present business results and dilemmas to the finance leadership team and CFO. This includes the yearly Budgeting and Target setting process and the quarterly financial outlook process. You will own process facilitation, tool development and stakeholder alignment

Develop corporate performance
management concept and orchestrate updates of KPIs and value boards for
executive management - closely linked to Novozymes strategy
·
Play a key role in quarterly
business reviews and drive the executive management pack
·
Influence digital journey and drive best practices
within performance management and financial planning
·
Collaborate and engage with the full FP&A team and
different finance functions
Location of the position is Novozymes headquarter in Bagsværd. Estimated travel
activity is 0-5 days a year – in case of team events, conferences or similar – and
with great flexibility and work life balance.
Highly capable finance profile with CFO mindset and passion
for corporate financial planning
As Sr. Manager, Corporate
Financial Planning, you possess the following experience and qualifications:
·
A
Master’s degree in business administration, finance or economics (e.g.
Cand.merc.FIR, MAC, AEF, FSM, ASC, AUD, Cand.polit / oecon or similar) with a
solid academic track record
·
At
least 7-8 years of relevant experience – gladly more – within business finance,
management consulting or related. This could be from roles as experienced
Finance Business Partners, Managers / Sr. Managers within FP&A, Finance
Project Managers or a background from a financial consultancy providing CFO
advisory and optimized finance processes
·
A
solid financial toolbox. Experience with financial planning, designing or
driving finance processes, as budget, forecast, financial outlook, performance
management etc. is considered a plus
·
Proven
ability and experience with facilitating and driving processes including
experience with indirect leadership
·
Strong
stakeholder management and communication skills as you will be working with all
layers in the organization including communication to executive management and Board
of Directors
·
Strong
Excel, PowerPoint and English skills are a must
As the right candidate
you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as a founding structure
for solid business acumen and a keen focus on how to enable business
performance through value adding corporate financial planning processes. You
thrive in owning, driving and optimizing processes bringing them alive in the
organization backed up by a mature personality and excellent communication-,
presentation- and stakeholder management abilities. You are a people person
good at building report, with a “can do attitude” and you must value working in
teams and not be afraid of challenging both yourself and others.

people management and develop into for instance other Director positions in Business
Finance or strategy / commercial positions in e.g. Sales or Corporate Strategy
/ Business Development. The compensation and benefits package will besides a
fixed salary include bonus and company paid pension scheme.
