TDC NET became a reality, when TDC was
taken over by a Consortium (ATP, PFA, PKA and Macquarie) in May 2018 with the
ambition to split the integrated telco into two independent companies, i.e. an
infrastructure focused company, TDC NET and an end-user content focused
company, Nuuday. The long term focus of the owners is TDC NET, where the
majority of the combined value creation will happen by focusing on high
investment into long-term stable infrastructure assets.
TDC NET is operating as an independent
company with its own purpose, strategy, leadership team, and plans for the
years to come. TDC NET employs approximately 2.500 employees, and revenues
amounting to 7 billion DKK revenue, 55+% EBITDA margin and investments

TDC NET – the future of
telecommunication infrastructure
TDC NET is in the
midst of an exciting transformation where network operations and infrastructure
is established as a stand-alone company. This presents a unique opportunity to
design and build all business processes and systems from scratch. As a part of this
journey, the Procurement organization is a key strategic function with a vital
role in driving the future strategy of TDC NET. Furthermore, TDC NET will, in
the coming years, be investing significantly in the fixed and mobile
infrastructure of Denmark, e.g. 5G and fibernet access for 1 million households.
Change and investment bring significant opportunities for Procurement to influence
the success of the company.
This exciting transformation
journey offers a unique opportunity to apply and develop your sourcing skills
and competencies. Therefore, TDC NET seeks a dedicated Category Manager for
Civil Works. You are passionate about sourcing, project management and ideally
with civil works experience from the construction and building industry – and
want to play a significant role in the future TDC NET Procurement organization.
You will be part of a dedicated Procurement function consisting of a Category
Management team and a Project Execution team working across categories; in
total around 20 passionate Category Managers, Sourcing Managers and Sourcing
Consultants which handles all strategic sourcing activities and manages a
significant DKK billion spend. Procurement is a strategic priority for TDC and
holds the commercial responsibility for all supplier agreements; agreements
that span from large multi-year partnerships to smaller projects exploring new
solutions and technologies.
Areas of responsibility
The position as Category Manager has a broad range of interfaces and
stakeholders and reports to Head of Category Management who reports to CPO. Procurement
is based on a total cost of ownership approach and a keen focus on proactively
adding value to business as a close business partner. In the coming years focus
is to further strengthen the category management approach within the
Procurement function. Main stakeholders are Fiber Factory, Technology, Vender-
& Contract Management, Finance, suppliers and C-level in TDC NET. Key areas
of responsibilities and tasks will be to:

Develop
& execute the Civil Works category strategy for TDC NET with an annual spend
of 1+ billion DKK
·
Lead,
execute and oversee key strategic sourcing projects within the Civil Works category
·
Lead
and execute contract optimization initiatives internally and with our suppliers
·
Proactively
work to identify opportunities for additional value creation and optimization with
key suppliers and stakeholders
·
Continuously
monitor and drive compliance towards preferred suppliers
·
Ensure
full alignment on Civil Works related strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier
management with stakeholders across TDC NET
·
Challenge
status quo and continuously explore new opportunities and new ways of working
within TDC NET
·
Manage
a set of diverse, highly engaged and challenging stakeholders across all levels
of the organization
·
Contribute
to the development of the overall procurement function through optimization of
processes and identification of efficiencies
Location of the position is TDC NET’s Headquarter at
Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen. If you are the ideal candidate, main location
could possibly also be Aarhus. Expect limited yearly travel.
Your profile as the desired
candidate
·
Ideally you have completed a
master degree in business, finance, law or engineering etc. and have minimum 5-10
years – gladly more – of sourcing and project management experience preferably
from civil works, construction or similar. Alternatively, 8-10 years project-
and commercial experience from leading construction business
·
Solid experience with construction,
building and / or Capex procurement and negotiations of complex commercial
contracts
·
Preferably working knowledge
and experience from AB92 / AB18 contractual set-up
·
Experience in developing and
optimizing contractual frameworks across stakeholder boundaries
·
Comfortable and experienced
in managing senior stakeholders, also on C-level
·
A Strong Microsoft Office
skill set
·
Native Danish speaker, with
written and spoken English to negotiation level

person you are an engaged procurement and supply chain professional that is
passionate about sourcing, technology and construction. Well-developed
analytical skills, a structured mindset and financial and business acumen forms
the way you work and drive sourcing projects forward. This is supported by
excellent communication and presentation skills. Further, you are and exemplary
stakeholder manager, collaborative and networking of nature supplemented by a
positive mindset and a
constructive approach to new challenges, tasks and transformation.

The compensation
and benefits package will besides a fixed salary include 10% company paid
