It is important to support initiatives with data and therefore business supporting analytics is high on the agenda and closely attached to strategic people focus areas.
Ensuring that TDC
NET is a highly attractive place to work – with talent, leaders and

People & Culture strategy. Therefore, TDC NET seeks an experienced Head of
Compensation & Benefits to develop, drive and execute the Compensation
& Benefits strategy and -agenda. You will have ownership of the entire C&B
area and the position is vital for having a competitive total employer value
proposition to secure recruitment and retention of highly skilled and engaged
employees.
Areas
of responsibility
The position spans
from having a very high-level strategic C&B perspective to executing more
analytical and operational tasks. It does not entail people management but is “big
on impact” and potentially with the possibility to be supported by a student
worker or similar. Compensation & Benefits is relatively mature with clear
top management exposure.
In the role you will take Compensation & Benefits to the next level in order to be an even more strategic sparring partner for the organization. You work closely with many stakeholders in HR, Finance, Legal and top- / senior management. You will report to the VP, Union Relations & Common Operations who reports to Chief HR Officer. Key areas of responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Overall responsible for Compensation & Benefits including developing and executing executing on strategy, politics and activities within the field, drive the annual C&B cycle and ensuring compliance
- Analysis and calculations of Compensation & Benefits in order to match the market and business needs
- Further develop, implement, drive and evaluate C&B programs and long / short term incentive (LTI & STI) models
- Process Ownership of salary adjustment and handle successful placement of managers and employees in relation to title- / tiering structure and salary level in close collaboration with HR Business Partners and top management
- Develop salary benchmark and compensation strategies for key groups of employees
- Presentations and reporting for Board and top management with regards to salary and compensation levels, program development etc.
- Participation in the further development of performance management and design of employer value proposition
Location of the
position is TDC NET’s Headquarter at Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen or
alternatively Sletvej in Aarhus. The position entails a good work life balance,
flexible work and only very limited yearly travel.
Your profile as the desired candidate
As the ideal profile to further build and develop this
vital Head of Compensation & Benefits position you have:
- Most likely a M.Sc. degree in e.g. HR, Business, Finance, Law or similar, alternatively a Business Diploma (HD), but it is your professional skills and personality that matters most
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience – gladly more! – the majority within C&B, Rewards etc. either from dedicated C&B roles or as e.g. HR Manager / Partner with C&B as a responsibility
- Solid experience in reward strategy and with developing and executing C&B policies, processes and activities from either a large corporation or from a consultancy specializing in C&B
- Experience and well-seasoned within several of the areas: Salary adjustment processes, bonus programs as LTI / STI, benchmarks, tiering, position evaluation etc.
- High level of numerical skills and high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable in working with senior stakeholders, also on C-level
- Proficiency in Danish & English and strong communication skills

- Strong analytical abilities and business acumen enabling you to provide valuable C&B insights - attention to details and also with focus on the larger picture
- A structured, reliable and well-organized personality – with a flair for understanding systems and processes – supporting you in planning, executing and further developing C&B activities
- Efficient and execution minded style of working yet still with a focus on documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to explain complex subjects and present data in a clear and concise manner
- With a resilient personality and good interpersonal skills, you are able to challenge business and further develop processes

The compensation and
benefits package will besides a fixed salary on an attractive level include
company paid pension scheme (+ 3% flexible salary scheme on top), bonus and
