Nilfisk’s Strategy & Business Development function drives the corporate strategic agenda in close collaboration with the executive leadership team and support with developing corporate- and business unit strategies, lead M&A projects, enhance the digital domain and more. The projects are often cross-functional, thus having many touch points in the organization. All strategic initiatives are supported from the Strategy & Business Development team.

 

To support the customer-driven transformation and new journey, the Strategy & Business development function is in growth with the hiring of one or more high caliber Strategy Managers / Senior Strategy Managers. To some extent the position is scalable to match the candidate seniority and tenure from ideally top-tier management consulting company and / or corporate strategy department. The position has a second to none top management exposure and will be a great step stone to management positions in e.g. Group functions or business units – located on headquarter or abroad.

 

Fueling high-profile strategic projects

As Strategy Manager in Group Strategy & Business Development you are involved in all stages of the strategy processes and lead end-to-end projects with a significant impact in the organization. You have full project management responsibility and support development and execution of strategic initiatives with key decision makers like the Executive Management team, Country Managers, Global Operations and Global Products & Services. The position reports to Senior Vice President, Head of Strategy & Business Development who reports to CEO. Your daily tasks and responsibilities counts:

 

·       Strategy project management or participation in larger projects across the Nilfisk Group:

o   Corporate- and business unit strategy

o   Go to market strategy, Sales Excellence- and Service strategy

o   Global Operations – production-, procurement- and supply chain strategy

o   Business development projects

o   Analysis and recommendations to top management and the board

o   Market & business analysis

 

·       Specifically within the digital domain:

o   Develop digital strategy   

o   Develop new business models within emerging technologies

o   Identify and evaluate technology and industry trends

 

·       M&A:

o   Assess potential investments, strategic partnerships, and / or M&A activities that help realize global strategies and Nilfisk’s growth agenda

o   Commercial due diligence, fit with overall strategy, synergies, business model, integration etc.     

 

Location of the position is Nilfisk headquarter in Brøndby. With the position comes some travel to Nilfisk locations around the world, estimated 10-20 days a year.


Experienced Strategy Manager / tier 1 management consultant with the ability to execute and follow-up

As Strategy Manager in Nilfisk Group Strategy & Business Development you possess the following experience and qualifications:

 

·       Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar with top grades

·       Professionally, you have acquired a strong strategy toolbox from either 1½-5 years’ experience at a top-tier management consulting company and / or corporate strategy department

·       Strong experience from project management and / or having driven work streams in projects, with focus on corporate and commercial strategies. Digital experience is an advantage but not a must

·       Experienced with exposure and presentations on top management level

·       Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

·       Fluency in English, verbally and in writing

You have strong business acumen, with the ability to place analyses and financial numbers in a business context.

 

Nilfisk Offers

A challenging in-house top management exposure Strategy Manager position where you work with corporate-, commercial- and functional strategies, business critical growth focused projects and M&A. The compensation and benefits package will besides a fixed salary on an attractive level include bonus and 8% company paid pension scheme.
