HR Business Partner with high potential and reporting line to HR Vice President

In order to further strengthen and mature HR and support business our client, an international technology intensive company, is now looking for a professional HR Business Partner with high potential. AS HR Business Partner you will lead and manage the people management related agenda and build a strong value adding partnership with managers. In the role you manage the full scale and scope of HR activities and proactively identify HR challenges and provide HR support that facilitates line management in achieving their business goals. In this position, you will have a varying workday, working on both a strategic and more hands on level.


As HR Business Partner, you will be part of a small and well-functioning HR team in Denmark consisting of 2 HR Business Partners, 1 HR Admin employee and the Vice President for HR to whom you report. In addition there will be some level of support from HR specialist functions in the Group within e.g. com & ben, recruitment etc.. You act as the HR Business Partner for R&D and Operations each consisting of approximately 300 employees working on sites north to Copenhagen, Jutland, South Africa and the US. Recurring HR processes and activities are relatively mature yet still with room for improvement giving you a great opportunity for impact.


You will work in a very technology intensive organization among highly professional colleagues creating an ambitious yet still informal atmosphere. You will work primarily from the site north to Copenhagen, but you should expect 30-40 days a year at the site in Jutland. The R&D organization consists of a large proportion of specialists, in particular engineers, while Operations consists of a mix of specialists and hourly paid workers employed under collective agreement.


Leading the HR and people management agenda within the organizations you support
You have your own area of responsibility for providing advice and support within the full range of HR Services for R&D and Operations. You lead the deliveries and will be supports in these to some extent by your HR Business Partner colleague. Key tasks and responsibilities will be:

·          Proactively  executing HR deliverables and supporting HR processes in the organization you  support

·          Coaching and sparring with line managers and providing HR advice and support, hereunder  acting as the performance improvement driver initiating positive changes in people  management

·          Recruitment  of top level employees

·          HRD  activities including team- and leadership development and supporting organizational    change

·          Facilitating recurring HR processes, e.g. employee appraisals, salary process, satisfaction    surveys etc.

·          Deploy and implement Corporate HR strategies and initiatives within e.g. workforce planning,  com & ben / reward, talent management – also by pulling upon specialists from Corporate  HR functions

·          Design succession plans for key positions and support career plans for key talents

·           Advise on employment legislation / HR legal issues including e.g. employment contracts,      restructures, compulsory redundancies, voluntary severance schemes etc.

·          Provide accurate HR data to management

·          Support discussions and transfer of best practice between different organizational functions

Candidate with Master’s degree and broad HR experience from knowledge intensive organizations
Education, experience and skills:


·           You hold a relevant Master’s degree and have at least 4-5 years of experience from a                      similar position as HR Partner or HR Manager – preferably from a knowledge intensive                    international organization

·           Preferably  a broad experience within several of the areas: HR Management, Recruitment,              HRD and leadership development, com & ben, HR legislation / labor law

·           Expertise in providing HR advice and challenging management and in making HR results                visible

·           Relevant certifications for test / assessment tools

·           Fluent communication in Danish and English

·           You  are a team player with strong interpersonal-, communication- and negotiation skills

·           You  are a self-starter who like to take the lead and drive processes

·           You have solid analytical abilities and problem solving skills

·           You  are structured, with strong project- and change management skills enabling you to keep           an overview and prioritize in a complex organization

·           You have business acumen in order to provide value adding HR deliverables

·           You set high standards and strive for creating results
