Capgemini Sogeti Danmark is a Sogeti SBU entity located with Danish headquarters south to Copenhagen in Vallensbæk Strand and around 300 headcounts. In 2015, the revenue for this affiliate exceeded more than 325 million DKK and a Net result before tax of 21,1 million DKK. The Danish market is growing and the business opportunities are significant. The entity is currently focused primarily on 3 markets Digital Assurance & Testing, Digital and Application Development & Maintenance

 

Capgemini Sogeti Danmark is a system integration company developing, integrating, testing, maintaining systems and applications for clients and also delivers enterprise architecture and project-, program- and service management. In that sense, it is end-to-end solutions, which are delivered to clients. Capgemini Sogeti Danmark is market leading within Digital Assurance & Testing with more than 100 employees.

 

Central technologies for Capgemini Sogeti Danmark is Salesforce, Java / Open Source, Episerver and Microsoft technologies as .NET, ASP.NET, SharePoint, Windows Azure and Microsoft Expression. Further growth and an increased number of employees is expected in the Danish affiliate over the coming years.

Responsibilities

Capgemini Sogeti Danmark is now seeking for an experienced, people oriented and commercially driven Head of Digital Assurance & Testing to lead the organization, take it to its next level and further strengthen the market leading position. Driving “your own business” with P&L responsibility, business impact is huge and you also have a seat in Capgemini Sogeti´s Danish management team.

 

As Head of this unit, you will be in charge of all matters regarding digital assurance and test in the Danish affiliate of the company. You will be also be responsible for e.g. people management, strategy, sales for solution design, proposal & bid management and the successful delivery of projects.

 

The Business Unit encompasses a wide range of state-of-the art test offerings within e.g. Test Automation, Agile / Devops, Quality Management & Consulting, Test Management, and much more including Test & Quality Strategy and Consulting and also education regarding TPI, training and certification etc. Client list counts many of the largest private and public companies in Denmark.

 

Capgemini Sogeti globally has more than 11.000 test experts & consultants, 500 in the Nordics of which 100+ is located in Denmark. This makes us “Best in Test” in Denmark and globally leading. A Test Center of Excellence is located in Copenhagen and Capgemini Sogeti Danmark hosts Denmark´s largest software test conference, TestExpo.

 

You head a team of 4 Test Team Managers each leading a team of Professionals in Copenhagen and Jutland. Through the contribution of your organization and team on the Capgemini Sogeti business in Denmark the position of course has top management exposure.

 

Main interfaces will be to CEO, the international Digital Assurance & Testing organization, Directors for other Business Units and the Danish Sales organization. The position reports directly to the CEO of Capgemini Sogeti Danmark. Main KPI´s will be within revenue growth, contribution margin, sales bookings, leadership and ability to shape Digital Assurance & Testing for the future. Key responsibility areas:

 

·       Define, implement and execute strategy for Digital Assurance & Testing business in Denmark

·       Build, lead, coach and inspire your organization of currently 100+ test experts to ensure a high level of motivation, professionalism and level of skills

·       P&L responsibility for Digital Assurance & Testing Business Unit in Denmark responsible for offerings, solutions, deliveries and clients within digital assurance & test to ensure relevance and competitiveness in the market including Rightshore

·       Business Development, leads creation and close deals in close collaboration with the rest of the organization

·       Member of and active participation in international Digital Assurance & Testing community of Capgemini Sogeti to share best practices, create a best in class forum, drive standardization and improvement opportunities


·       Ad hoc digital assurance & testing related assignments and active participation in global testing initiatives launched by Group

Location of the position is Delta Park 40, 2665 Vallensbæk Strand. Local and some international travel is part of your role.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or preferably a Master’s degree within IT, engineering, business or other relevant area.

The Head of Digital Assurance & Testing Business Unit has at least 5-10 years of professional experience from similar practices (IT development).

Your recent role could be e.g. Director, Manager or Head of testing / software quality assurance or similar. The candidate profile should hold the following features:

      

·       Solid skills and track record within testing, software quality assurance, software development and preferably consulting from an IT consulting company


·       Understand the current and future market needs for QA & Testing and can drive the necessary transformation in skills and capabilities in your practice


·       Knows Testing & Quality management delivery models (time & material, solutions, projects, near shore and offshore)


·       Good insight into various testing and automation tools and various development and testing lifecycles including waterfall and agile methodologies


·       Acquaintance with functional and non-functional testing such as usability, performance, security, etc.   


·       Understanding of the latest trends and ability to translate those to concrete offerings and services further developing test & quality portfolio in full awareness of digital transformation, customer experience, Service Virtualization, DevOps, Mobility, Cloud and other IT practices and in close cooperation with sales.


·       people management experience and -skills within leading Business Units, Departments or teams


·       Understand and preferably experience in working with offshore test- or development teams


·       Experience of some international work and good knowledge of English both orally and in writing
