Lundbeck offers a challenging position as Director for
Compensation & Benefits, which is part of the HR department consisting of
app. 70 highly skilled and committed employees working within HR Partnering,
Recruitment, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Administration
and Compensation & Benefits. HR has a keen focus on providing value adding
business support to help Lundbeck achieve its strategic goals.
You will lead the Compensation & Benefits team, which is responsible for
driving and developing Lundbecks global C&B strategy in order to support
Lundbeck as a highly attractive place to work. Part of this is to manage and
support a competitive pay for performance culture and to build a corporate
transparent compensation & benefits structure with a global mindset to
enhance mobility and fair treatment of employees across the organization. Key
objectives for the position will be to promote transparency and process
efficiency within compensation and benefits and to transform the C&B
function to be an even more strategic sparring partner for the organization.
You will work closely with many stakeholders across
the organization mainly other HR teams, Finance, Legal, Management and provide
input and presentations to the Remuneration Committee responsible for top
management and board salaries in Lundbeck. Your position reports to Vice
President & Head of Corporate HR. You are supported by 3 dedicated
employees in the team with strong C&B skills and knowledge about Lundbeck. They
are in their early 40´s to early 50´es with academic background and working
within assigned specialist areas. Key responsibility areas for the position are
described below. Some tasks are handled by your direct reports while you also
handle some of them yourself which makes the position span from a highly
strategic to a more hands-on analytical perspective:

Ensure a clear
compensation and benefits structure aligned with C&B and HR strategy and
that total remuneration in Lundbeck is correspondent and competitive to the
market level

Execute on global
process ownerships; Salary adjustment, Short Term Incentives (STI), Long Term
Incentives (LTI), and Global Mobility including correct administration towards
users and Finance
·
Job evaluation based on
Mercer as backbone for salary structure and benefits for a structured and
unified way of working with salary. This also includes sourcing compensation
benchmark analyses for the group
·
Provide analyses and
presentations for decision making for Remuneration Committee and Management
·
Provide employment contracts
for top management (e.g. VP´s, MD´s etc.) in cooperation with Legal
·
Define and communicate
corporate policy on pension and provide support to affiliates and Management
·
Deliver Global Mobility
services in accordance with the Corporate Policy
·
Take active part in
implementation of new HR processes and HR Information systems within C&B
·
Report on incentive
programs in close cooperation with Finance
·
Budget and cost control
·
Lead, motivate and
inspire your team through an appreciative and delegating leadership style
·
Build up and promote a
global C&B community in Lundbeck with participation from HQ, local and
regional C&B resources
Location of the position is in Lundbecks corporate
headquarters based in Valby, Copenhagen. Due to the corporate responsibility of
the position, travel activity is estimated to approximately 10-20 days a year.
Qualifications
As the ideal profile to further build and develop this
vital Compensation & Benefits Director position you have:

Academic credentials on
a
Master level in HR Management,
Finance/Accounting or related field
·
At least
6-10 years solid compensation & benefits experience, alternatively HR
controlling or similar
·
International
experience in reward strategy and planning, compensation and benefits policy
and processes, including external and internal benchmarking
·
Knowledge
of a range of HR disciplines, including international mobility, employee
relations, employee tax, performance management, and organization culture
·
Excellent
numerical skills and highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
·
Fluent in
written and oral English

extremely important for this position. Some of the most important are:
· H igh level analytical abilities and business acumen enabling you to provide valuable C&B insights - attention to details, also with focus on the larger picture communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to explain complex subjects and present data in a logical and concise manner
