SimCorp’s customers include international banks, insurance companies and investment managers throughout the world. Investing 22% of the revenue in R&D further demonstrates the company’s extensive commitment to its product and its clients. SimCorp is a knowledge based company where more than 90% of the employees hold an academic degree, most of them within computer science, finance, economics and engineering.


SimCorp is looking for a Tax Manager for its Group Finance Department with overall responsibility for tax in the entire group, which consists of subsidiaries in 15 countries. Group Finance comprises 15 employees, nine of them in the Accounts team responsible for accounting, financial controlling, consolidation, tax and transfer pricing and external reporting. Furthermore, Business Controllers and Legal will be among your colleagues in Group Finance. The position reports to the Assistant Vice President and Head of Group Accounts.


The job

As Tax Manager at SimCorp, you will have responsibility for all tax matters. Internally you work in close collaboration with financial and business controlling, legal, accounting and subsidiaries. Externally you work closely with SimCorp´s auditing company and tax authorities in Denmark and abroad. As a profitable company focusing on organic growth, SimCorp´s underlying business aspirations is to be compliant with local and global tax requirements.

 

SimCorp is currently updating its transfer pricing model from internal pricing based on product fee to a Transactional Net Margin Method (TNMM) model. SimCorp is also in the process of entering into “advanced pricing agreements” with certain countries in order to proactively make agreements with tax authorities. As Tax Manager, you will lead this journey and transfer pricing will be a very big part of the position where your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

·        Coordinating transfer pricing documentation for the SimCorp Group

·        Facilitate do cumentation related to “advanced pricing agreements” between tax authorities in Denmark and abroad

·        Controlling  of corporate income tax computations on a quarterly basis

·        Prepare  the parent company tax return and assist the subsidiaries with their tax returns

·        Supporting the parent company and subsidiaries on compliance tasks and audits

·        Design and improve processes for corporate tax and tax reporting

·        VAT  – if you have competencies and / or interest in this area

The position is located at SimCorp’s HQ, Weidekampsgade 16, 2300 Copenhagen S. The job is not expected to entail more than 5-10 days of travelling annually.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a Masters degree such as Cand.merc.aud, Cand.merc.jur, Cand.jur, Master in Tax or Similar . Furthermore, you possess the following qualifications:


·        At least 3-5 years of experience, gladly more, within corporate tax ideally form a multinational company or alternatively a law firm, audit firm or SKAT

·        Preferably  a solid experience with transfer pricing or at least a very big appetite for this area

·       In general a broad knowledge of / interest in corporate tax

·       Command Danish and English – written and spoken – on a business level

SimCorp Offers

have the responsibility for tax matters with particular focus on transfer pricing and "advanced pricing agreements" in a global, knowledge intensive software company, which has a collaborative approach to taxation. You will be part of rolling out the nex tax model and participate in the tax audits in ScimCorp.
